About Us

JR Music Supply LLC is a wholesale distributor of orchestral string instruments and accessories manufactured primarily in Europe. Based in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, we represent many small, independent workshops throughout Europe and China. Our aim is to provide quality instruments and accessories to a vast array of musicians at a competitive price.

JR Music Supply was founded in 1984, and has grown over the last 30 years to include a network of thousands of retail stores. As a musician owned and operated company, we stay informed about new products and resources, and are continually searching for the finest materials to use in our European workshops.

While most wholesale distributors search the market for the cheapest instruments they can find, JR Music strives to be different. We create value by setting a standard for quality instruments and parts, and check every piece with our staff luthiers before shipping. We do not relabel instruments or call imports what they are not; we know our master luthiers personally and verify the work that they do.
